Beginner’s Embroidery

Teaching embroidery to children is a great way of encouraging creativity, while giving them the skills to work with their hands. Yes, it is seen as old fashioned but most children learn a lot by doing it and are proud once they have got to grips with the stitches – and you have given them the gift of being able to mend their own clothes in the future! Younger generations understand climate change, waste and clothing – these skills will empower them to do something about it. 

None of us are too old to learn, so we can all join in.
